What to expect

We ask that you do 20 hours each week you stay working on the farm. This in return provides you with all meals and accommodation. We have three extra bedrooms in the house. One with ensuite.
Jobs on the farm are mostly weeding, mulching, fencing with Mark, mowing and whipper snipping. We run workshops on the property regularly and previous Wwoofers have taken part in and helped out with these too.

If you want to come and Wwoof here...

Please email us or contact through Wwoofing Australia, you will need to be a member of Wwoofing Australia to come here. While we currently can't offer paid work, once in the area, previous WWoofers have been able to get paid work on local farms.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Ben T - France

I stayed 3 months with Mark and Lisa and had a great time! They found me a payed job so I could save up while helping them and learning about gardening, animal caring and training, building, fencing ... They are very social person and you will probably meet some of their friends while staying there, all of which are great people. If you like working outdoors, dogs, cats, sheeps, chickens, and alpagas and meeting passionate people, you will enjoy yourself! Mount Murray farm is very beautiful and the area is as well, with good surfing spots 30 minutes away and good hikes nearby.

Veronika W - Austria

We spent a week on Mount Murray Farm and loved it! Lisa and Mark are great people with a big heart. We got to meet a few of their friends as well, which was fun. We really felt at home and it was never boring, especially because of their 3 cute dogs!! We did a little bit of weeding, fed the animals (chooks, sheep and alpacas) and even got the chance to experience a vet visit and got to help a little bit 🙂 The area around Mount Murray is beautiful and there’s lots to see. They also trusted us with their spare car, which made exploring even more easy and fun! There are a few waterfalls and a lot of beaches to explore. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!!

Lisann - Germany

I spend a week and a few days on Mount Murray Farm and really enjoyed it. Right from the start I felt very welcome and Mark and Lisa treated me like a part of the family. They are great hosts, always relaxed and caring and a great help - they linked me with so many awesome people and made a lot of things possible for my travelling! They were great company and it was a pleasure to spend time with them! The work was not very hard and I had the most relaxing time! The alpacas, chooks, sheep and cats are lovely but the best are the dogs. They are super sweet, beautiful and just lovely! It was hard to say goodbye. The area is beautiful and I had a great time exploring the coast and the waterfalls! I really enjoyed my time at Mount Murray Farm! Thank you so much!
