We are so excited to welcome Anthea da Silva to Mount Murray Farm. Anthea is a renowned artist whose passion for portraiture and life drawing deeply influences the themes in her art.
$5.00 from every ticket sale will be donated to Native Wildlife Rescue, Robertson who do amazing work rescuing the native animals of the Southern Highlands. Even better, you can come and paint Portia then come along to the Trivia Night, where 100% of profits raised will go to Native Wildlife Rescue!

About the Event
We are so excited to welcome Anthea da Silva back to Mount Murray Farm. Anthea is a renowned artist whose passion for portraiture and life drawing deeply influences the themes in her art. You will be learning about brush techniques while painting iconic Sydney based Drag Queen, Portia Turbo, in a group setting here at the farm.
We supply:
- the nibbles,
- paints,
- canvas,
- brushes and
- easel
You bring:
- BYO your bubbles or what you plan to enjoy. Please note, we recommend those who are planning to drink to have a designated driver.
Anthea da Silva's work has gained recognition on a national level, as evidenced by her participation in esteemed exhibitions like the Darling Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra. Here Anthea was the winner of the inaugural Darling Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery in 2020.
She has also been part of selected group exhibitions, including the Portia Geach Memorial Award at the S.H. Ervin Gallery in Sydney, Australia. Her artistic journey has been documented in various publications, with features in notable platforms such as ArtDaily and Sydney Morning Herald. Notably, Anthea da Silva's contributions to the art world were highlighted in the article "National Portrait Gallery Announces NPPP and Darling Prize People's Choice Awards," published by ArtDaily in June 2020.
